Place of origin:   Vineyard of Freisa grapes in Cicheta Veja in Madonna Como (hamlet in the town of Alba). South-east aspect. The vintage time is at the end of September.
Surface grown with grape vines:   0,8 Hectares approx
Yield per stub:   1,6 Kg approx
Notes About the cultivation:   The system of rearing with classical “Guyot”, with short pruning.
Average density of the:   4.000 stumps for one hectare
Descriptive Notes:   A dry Freisa grown in the vineyards, which once belonged to the homonymous farmstead, it is an excellent wine with an intense, noble scent, and with a faint smell of roses.
Wine-making:   Short maceration of the grape skins, fermentation temperature 28/30 °C
Bottling:   Late spring
Refinement in bottles:   Two month at the Penna’s cellar
The wear at the consumer:   To drink it in the period al 2 years about.
Conservation:   To maintain the bottles horizontally, without light; the temperature: 15°/16° and the humidity 80/85% about
The temperature of the service:   16°/18° C
Gastronomical coupling:   Light pasta, white meat and fresh cheese.
